Caught in the act!  She is really into pulling hair and by association headbands.  Madison is a good sport about it most of the time.  Here she is is holding the headband contraband.

 She will sit up by herself unsupported for about 15 seconds.  When you put her sitting in the Boppy she will hold herself up for 5-10 minutes.  She is getting a lot stronger.  Those keys are one of her favorite toys to chew on latley.

 Cute Sisters.  Annalise loves Madison.  As soon as Madison comes home from school Anna gets the biggest grin and giggles.  They love to play together.

" Whatcha looking at crazy."  She has some very funny expressions.  This is a classic!

She has moved on from squash which she loved to her second new food carrots.  As you can see from the picture she loves her baby food.

With Madison we never did a high chair and we always regretted it.  So this little beauty came in the mail last week and Anna got to try it out. 

She approves! 

Her pediatrician told us she was ready for solids so she got her first bite of oatmeal. 

I am not sure about this. 

She does pretty well with the cereal but about five minutes in she is totally done.  Madison would scream bloody murder the entire time until we gave up and moved on to veggies.  Anna will tolerate the food for about five minutes.  Next week we will add some green beans in and see what she thinks. 

 She really liked Maddie feeding her.  there is no doubt that this girl loves her big sister.

 Her new favorite thing is watching Dan playing the Wii and trying to get the controller.  She is all about remote controls of any kind right now.  I think she has figured out that they are the key to bringing her Baby Einstein videos.

 Sweet Sisters

 This was her five month photo.  I can't believe she is already five months old.

Getting ready for bed.

 This week we finally got around to our tradition of taking pictures with all our loot under the tree.  Annalise really loves her playmat the best.  She rolls over on it all the time now.

We also got Annabug in for her checkup this week.  Her official stats are:

Weight 16.35 lbs 80%

Height 25 1/2 inches 75%

Her doctor called her well-porportioned.  We call her chunky.  Annalise is rolling over, babbling, growling, and cooing.  She will mimic some of our sounds.  You can see her mind working when she tries to make the same sounds we make.  When we try to read her books she gets angry because she can't eat them.  The day that she got her shots she was mad at us for most of the day and would growl as if to say, "what did you do to me".  She still is a great sleeper but as she is getting older she has a tendency to be woken up by noises more and she is very interested in getting her hands on anything and putting in her mouth.  She is still a month off from rice cereal but I am sure she will be excited.  She is a very easy going happy little baby who loves to smile and enjoy life.
