Taking a bath in the sink. She is actually inside a giant bowl that is sitting in the sink.  "Why," you ask......because it's fun!
Pioneer Day parade.  If there is one thing Annalise does not get enough of it's food...just look for yourself- here she is eating a nilla wafer and a cracker
Still eating.....
 eating....
I switched to a healthy apple.

Just kidding...my nilla wafer is clutched in my other fist.
I am on the ground but I am still eating...
This child is definitely in need of more food
She learned her amazing eating skills from this one.
Annalise is not a super independent baby.   She is pretty much attached to my side all day.  Wherever I go there is a little hand slapping my leg and squealing to be picked up.  In fact as I sit her writing this she is slapping my back from behind my chair.  She is however, a very independent eater.
Her insistence on feeding herself her own food usually leads to faces like these.
Ho Ho Ho Merry Breakfast!

We decided to visit the Payson temple for Family Home Evening this week.  They have been working on it for almost 2 years and hopefully by fall of next year it will be done.  It is where we will be attending.  Don't you love how I am smiling through the strangulation?
Here are some pictures of the little Miss.  She has a strange fear of grass and refuses to sit on it but when we tried plopping her down in this little patch of flowers she actually seemed to enjoy herself.

We have quite a crazy life since the adoption!  We spent a week at Disneyland and then came home did a gigantic pile of laundry jumped into the car and headed to Boise for the 4th of July and the Jim and Ruth Smith Family Reunion which comprises over 150 members!

We spent the Fourth at Grandma Smith's getting things ready for the reunion which my in-laws (and by extension us) were in charge of.  For the first time in our married lives we just watched fireworks on the TV.  We did snap a family picture and as you see down below played with glow sticks!

There was lots of meals, activities, crafts, classes, and BBQ's.  Annalise met all sorts of new people and learned how to really love that squeeze fruit!  Annalise wants to eat absolutely everything that other people are eating.  She tends to scream a lot if someone is eating and doesn't give her some too!  Forget about cutting it into pieces that she can handle-she wants the whole hamburger!  Still NO TEETH!
Pretty sure she was taking advantage of the picture to try an get here sisters cheetos.
Posing in matching mint with Aunt Alicia.
She loved this swing.  The swings at the park are not her favorite because they are just not the right size.  This one was perfect for her and made me wish that we had a good tree in our backyard to hang one for her.
Apparently she is terrorizing Adri here with her pacifier.  Side note Adri is a full year older than Annalise even though Anna is almost as big as her.
From the Big Reunion we headed with Dan's parents, siblings, and kids to Bear Lake.  Dan and I were in charge of the Jim and Gaylene Smith family reunion.  We rented a large vacation house in Bear Lake and played outdoors.  Annalise enjoyed her first frozen gogurt at the lake while all the bigger cousins and Aunts and Uncles traded off inter tubing, and water skiing on the boat we had rented for the afternoon.
Our little family took a lazy morning at the house to rent this fun bike and set out to see the town.

We biked to this great park where Madison played and Annalise took a much needed cookie break!  All that sitting on the front of the bike just wore her out.

We found a little wooden path that led us through a field of catails to the lake.  We ended our bike ride with the famous Raspberry shakes and a little souvenir shopping.
Annalise turned 11 months old the day we left the lake to come back home.  We had a wonderful three weeks of vacation but boy was this girl happy to be home! Some 11 month milestones: pulling herself up into a standing position, climbing the stairs  (up and down), standing up unsupported (for 2-3 seconds), and eating everything in sight.  Favorite things: Mommy (total Mommas girl and often won't even go to Daddy..sigh), watermelon, nilla wafers, ice cream, baby einstein, outside, being able to crawl wherever she wants!  We love you Bugga-Boo.
