This is a rather long post but the last two weeks have been crazy and we are only getting started.  We still have two more reunions and our Nations birthday in front of us!
Anna eating her first scrambled eggs.  She was a big fan.  Favorite breakfast foods include: multi-grain cheerios, yogurt, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and puffs.  She still doesn't like juice but Maddie didn't either until she was older.

 Funny face!
10 month photo shoot.  I still can't believe how quickly she is growing up.
 She LOVES her food!
Father's Day picture.
The judge at Anna's adoption.  he gave her a teddy bear and she loved it!
 Adoption Day
Our family.  It was really sweet that they gave Maddie a bear too to make her feel included.  We had prepared her for a lot of the stuff that was going on but she was confused by it all and the teddy bear helped.  She named him Peanut Butter Cup and decided that until Anna could name her bear herself she was going to call him White Chocolate.
Anna was adopted on the 20th of June and then on the 22nd she was sealed to our family in the Provo temple.  It was a beautiful and sacred moment for our family.  My mother made her beautiful dress and all of the family came (as far as Missouri!) to support Annalise and our family.  She looked so beautiful.  We had some professional photos taken and when we get them I will post them but here are some random snapshots from relatives cameras.

This picture is out of sequence but I can't fix it.  It's Anna with crazy hair.
Watching the fountain at the temple
Aunt Alicia helping change her into her sealing dress.  The next day on Sunday she was blessed in church as well.  It was a wonderful, exhausting, exciting weekend.
Two days after the blessing we took Anna's first plane ride to California to have a reunion with my family at Disneyland.
Hanging in the hot hot heat with Uncle Matt.
Trying to get cool by the pool
We found a baby duckling that had just been hatched outside of Pirates and Anna was fascinated.
Riding the scooter with Papa
Metting Tinkerbell.  She was personally invited to have a tea party with Miss Bell.
 Riding the Teacups
She really loved all the rides except the Grouchy ladybugs at Bugland which was a little bumpy.
Finally meeting Aunt Anjuli.  They hit it off!
Not sure what we were doing here?
Anna chowing down at Goofy's Kitchen.  This girl really loves her food.  When ever anyone sits down to eat she gets really mad if she doesn't get to sit down and eat as well.
 Exploring Goofy's Kitchen
The part that was the hardest was that she always wanted to be down exploring but most of the time she couldn't.
Cute girl.
Anna took another couple of big firsts at Disneyland.  In the innovations building she climbed her first stair and at the airport she finally held her bottle and fed herself for the first time all by herself.  Miss Independent.  The next update will be another couple of weeks because we are headed out for two more weeks of fun with the Smith side of the family!

What can I say about this girl-she is so beautiful!  Her hair seems to get lighter every single day and I would definitely put her in the blond category for now.  I was looking at some of her newborn pictures and couldn't believe how much her hair has changed.  her eyes seem to be getting darker as well and I think she may go brown like mine.
The girls were both busy having some reading time.  Annalise sure loves having her sister around all the time now that school is out.

 Having a bedtime snack together.
Madison still pulls her old princess tunnel out on a daily basis.  She turns into into a fort where she likes to read or try to sneak the i-pad in when I am not looking.  Anna decided to try and figure out what is so cool in there.
Headed for me and the the excitement of the camera strap.
Dan says I must share this picture of the two of us making awkward expressions.  I am doing this under duress.  I rather stay off the blog in pictures all together.
 Smiling beauty!
 Reading a book with Mom.
Loves from the Annabug!

We spent some time on Memorial day at the cemetery putting flowers on graves and telling stories about Grandpa and Grandma Ludlow and Grandma Fish.  We were also able to visit uncle Sony and Aunt Maxine's graves and some other extended family.
It makes me very sad that my girls never got a chance to meet their great grandmas and great grandpa.  However, I am very sure that my Grandma Ludlow was taking care of both of the girls until they came here to be with us.  I have had that impression often in my life and look forward to the day when I can have Grandma's arms around me-I just hope she still has that sweet smell of face powder and aqua net.
It was nice to be able to see Kevin again and get to spend a little quiet family time together.

Anna playing on the deck at Grandma's.
This girl is a crawling machine!  It's like a light bulb clicked on for her this week and she has started crawling in a traditional style and she can get anywhere she wants.  The last of the child safety items has been installed and we feel safer knowing that she can get where she wants without hurting herself.  She is like a little puppy dog who shadows me wherever I go.  I will leave her in her room playing and go to my room to grab something and before I know it I hear her little squeals as she follows after me.  She really loves being able to get everywhere fast and it has made her a lot more fun to be around!
Croquet anyone?  Maddie is contemplating her victories.
Cute girl who is in to everything.
She is coming for the camera.
Demonstrating her new love and skill for eating saltines-despite the face that she still has NO TEETH!
