Catching Up

I apologize for my absence the past three weeks.  Life has moved up to a whole new level of crazy.  Miss Madison has been rehearsing for the last three months for the ballet the Nutcracker.  After four beautiful performances, a trip to Boise for Thanksgiving, and the death of my 99 year old Grandfather, we are a little exhausted and somewhat weary in both body and spirit.  However, I am back and determined to keep up my weekly blogging.  Above is a sweet picture of Annabug cuddling with her Daddy.
Enjoying the backyard of Dan's parents house in Boise.
 Thanksgiving dinner
 Some loving from momma!
Chilling with Grandma Smith.  Anna has a funny little quirk with both her Grandmas.  Whenever they come over she sees them and starts to fake cry and hold her arms up as if to say, "Grandma I have been abused-fix it!"
She really liked her Great Grandma Smith and hung out on her lap for at least 15 minutes.

She loves her Grandpa Smith too!
More exploring in the backyard.  Whenever Alicia's dog Rue would go outside she needed to be out there too.

Anna had a hard time initially with Rue.  When Rue would jump on her she would get knocked right over.  She was super hyper and Annalise got a scratch or two.  By the end of the visit she knew just how to handle the puppy and loved to play with her.
When we got home we got out the Christmas decorations and Anna got to "help" trim the tree.  The running count on ornaments she has broken or destroyed is 5 ornaments and three presents;)

She has recently become interested in baby dolls.  She likes to put them in the stroller and push them around, ride them in her car, feed them fake food, etc.  The one thing she will not tolerate however is any babies having pacifiers.  Anna is still firmly attached to hers and I don't think she likes "babies" to have them because she uses one and she is a Big Girl.  Poor Baby Cinderella can't have a pacifier because Anna will always pull it out and stick it in her mouth.
Another new love for Annalise is lipstick, chapstick, and gloss.  if it goes on your lips she wants it.  The problem is that all the chopsticks smell so delicious that she doesn't want them on her lips as much as she wants to try to eat them.  I thought I was safe with the chapstick pictured above because you can twist it down low.  After Anna had no success in getting it out she starting sucking as hard as she could on it and sure enough it popped right up.  I spend a lot of time running after this little troublemaker trying to keep back either the laughs or the tears.  She is a very busy, curious, mischeivious little daredevil.  Annalise makes us laugh with all the crazy funny things she does.
Movie time for the girls.
