 Awesome Morning Hair!
We were all cracking up while she was eating because she looked so crazy.  She just kept looking at us with a confused look like, "Hey, I've eaten bananas before and it not that funny!"
Anna thinks that things on her head means we are playing peek-a-boo.  I can't keep a hat on her to save my life.  With summer vacation upon us I have been making a effort to keep putting the hat back on her head to try to get her to keep it on.
Is she not the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?
Right after gobbling down her fish toy she threw the hat on the ground and laughed and I could not get it back on her for the rest of the afternoon (deep sigh).
Hanging out with Daddy!

New toys make life so fun!  We picked this one up at Ikea.
Maddie was showing her little sister how to play with it "properly." "It's a baby toy Mom, but I will play with it just to show Anna how to do it right."  It looked like they were both having a great time together.
This is Anna's new favorite expression.  It's her I am so excited face-it is usually combined with her arms pumping up and down and some high pitched squealing.
Cute baby girl.  Both her and Maddie caught a cold this week and so it has been a sad week filled with tissues and grumpiness-but they did have fun being together more as Maddie was not in school.  I think they are both going to love the summer!
Both of the girls are obsessed with my exercise ball and I have a hard time getting it away from them when I need to work out.
They love to play this crazy game where Maddie runs and slides over the ball and squeals at Anna and then she squeals back.  There is never a quiet moment around here.
Here she is demonstrating her "crawling" skills.  She has a very complex and innovative system of getting where she needs to go-none of this includes traditional crawling.  She scoots, twist, shimmies, crawls backwards, sits herself up, and rolls to get where she wants to go.  It seems to work for her though and she has been a lot happier being able to get the toy she wants when she wants it.  A couple of days ago I went to the bathroom and left her on the floor in the middle of the room and when I came back I could not find her anywhere.  We have gates so I knew she had to be somewhere in the room.  She was back in the corner behind the diaper genie where she had found her favorite farm animal sound book and was busy reading.

Can you stand the tongue!!!!

Annalise turned nine months old this week.  I can't believe how fast she is growing.  She has lots of new tricks.  She is getting up on her knees and rocking back and forth.  She likes to get in push up position and today she got herself in downward dog yoga style.  She is also scooting along but only in a  backwards direction(it's pretty funny).  She also sat up by herself this week.  She is so close to crawling that I sit around with the camera a lot trying to catch her doing it.
Anna has not ever been a great eater.  She is only mildly interested in bottles and when it came to baby food she was not having it.  I tried the stuff in the store, I tried making it myself, I tried everything a person could try and was thoroughly rejected.  Finally, I realized that she just hates anything that is a baby food texture.  However, if we give her little bits of real food that she can mash with her gums (still toothless!) she is happy as a clam. In the picture above she stole my apple and was sucking away on it.  She loves puffs, cheese, peas popped out of their shells, watermelon, apples and pears (she just sucks on them, and any kind of bread or cracker.
Dan's parents came to visit for a few days and Grandma tried her hand at feeding the Bug-a Boo.  We went away for the night up to Salt Lake and left the girls with my parents and Grandma took her official 9 month photo.  I will post it after I upload it from her camera
Dan snapped these pictures of my beautiful girls after church on Mother's Day.  Can you resist their adorable faces-I think not!
 Classic Anna crazy face!
Sweet Kisses!
Happy Girl!
Contemplating her new age of nine months.
Love, Love, Love my girls.  Note to my Mom-don't freak out she was wearing a sweater with the dress but she pulled it off after church!
