We were able to go to the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival and take some family photos.  The flowers beautiful and the girls were somewhat cooperative.  Here are the beautiful sisters.
Here is the photo we settled on for our updated family portrait.  Can you believe how beautiful (and well matched) the tulips were?  It took a little creative editing but I am happy with the final result.
Miss Anna happy as a clam!
She is getting into that phase that all babies hit when they want to be standing and holding on to something.  At church especially she likes to stand up and hold on to the pew behind us.  She is still not quite balanced enough to do it for very long but she is getting stronger everyday.
Hanging out with Daddy!  Oops I just realized this one isn't edited yet-sorry for the dark picture.
Taking a break from pictures for a little drink.
She was so cute here- madly giggling at a somewhat upside down Dad.
I had to include this to show you how Annalise feels about grass.  If she is on a blanket she is fine but put her directly on the grass and she becomes hysterical.
Getting love and sippies from Papa!
Anna is not one to be left out of any of the fun.  She likes to play the Wii along with everyone else.
Madison just keeps wishing that, "Anna would just grow up already so she can play Mario with me and jump on the trampoline!"

Typical morning for Anna-bug consists of bottle and Baby Einstein and than sitting on her blanket playing with her toys.  This is one of her signature expressions.  It's a cross between a happy smile, with a pinch of diva, and a splash of mischievousness.
Looking so sweet in her purple butterfly pajamas.
I had some fun one morning trying to figure out how to take pictures with lots of light.  She is so very beautiful.
Her hair is starting to get to the funny baby mullet stage.  It pokes out in all sorts of crazy places.  I refuse to cut hair until they are at least 5 years old.  So, she will just be crazy haired baby for awhile.
Zoning out!
So, Annalise has gotten pretty big, pretty fast and as a result she has outgrown her bath chair.  She is VERY active in the tub and so in an attempt to keep her from drowning I found this little tub that is a transition from the chair to just being in the tub.  Unless I have a death grip on her arm the entire time she is in the tub she gets all over the place.  You can't tell from this picture but the ducky was NOT an instant success.  She freaked out and cried the whole time.  I think eventually she will get used to it but for now as Maddie says, "the ducky is evil."
My beautiful girls!  I have been trying for a while to find matching outfits for the girls.  Back in March, my Mom and I found these cute dresses at the outlets  in Park City.  Madison was so excited all day at church because they matched.  We even found them matching silver sandals that they can wear when it gets a little warmer.
We tried to get some quick shots before church and were only somewhat successful so we will try again sometime .
These two are the cutest together.  Madison had to wait a very long time for a sister to come into her life but she couldn't be happier with the one she got.
Beautiful Maddie -7 years old.  What I love most about this shot is the way her smile sparkles out of her eyes .
Cutie Patooties!

Eight Months Old!  I can't believe how the time has flown by.  Wasn't I just doing the 6 month post yesterday?  Anna reached a big milestone this week.  She learned how to roll herself across the room.  She learned to roll over very early in life but she didn't like being on her stomach and would scream until somebody rolled her back to her back.  She finally got the hang of rolling herself back to her back and then to keep going to get a toy on the other side of the room.  She still prefers to always be sitting up but she is getting better at being o her stomach.
She isn't really displaying any signs of crawling yet.  She will push herself up on her arms but she hasn't figured out that she needs to get up on her knees.  We are okay with the limited mobility for now.  It makes life a little easier:)
Anna loves to smile and to giggle.  She is one happy little baby as long as she has your attention.  She has started to get really upset when someone walks by her and says hi and then moves on.  She wants someone to always be playing with her, talking to her, or reading her a book.  She is a very social little bug.  She likes to smile at people at church and then bury her head in my shoulder and play shy.  She is close to 19 pounds and is a long little thing.  She is full of life, and joy, and drama.  Papa likes to call her his "Little Diva."
We have had a lot of stroller time lately with the weather picking up somewhat.  Maddie is out on her bike daily and we like to walk along and watch the fun!

Hanging out in her highchair.  As usual anything in her hands get shoved into her mouth.
Eating a baby cookie is hard work.  She really likes teething cookies and this day she laid her head down on her exersaucer and sucked away on it.

I couldn't resist posting the following series of pictures.  It gives you a peek inside the many faces of Anna-Bug!  Isn't she beautiful.  Just for your 411 she is almost 19 pounds and quite long.  She is firmly into 12-18 month clothes and size 3-4 shoes.  We love our big girl!
