Annalise has been very interested in her books lately.  She will actually take the time to look at each page but she will say the names of things she knows.  Most of her words are only understood by us because we have heard her say them but she is getting a little more adventurous with trying new words. 

 Shadow and Anna have a love-hate relationship.  Mainly that Anna loves Shadow and he hates her.  She means well but a one year old likes to pull whiskers and tails and sit on top of cats and he is not a fan.  When he sees her coming he usually runs as fast as he can but today was a rare moment of peace between them.

Anna loves food!  Whenever anything is baking in the oven she loves to stand by the oven and blow and blow.  She blows to start cooling the hot food that is still baking so she can eat it faster!  She's a very funny girl. 

Don't worry it is not open.  She is always trying to get soda cans from people.  She found an unopened one in the pantry and spent thirty minutes carrying it around trying to suck something out of it. 

We had our first real snow of the season this past weekend.  It had snowed before but briefly and didn't stick.  It snowed all day and was very cold so we pulled out the cold weather gear.  A cat and a penguin!
